The 2020 Hyundai Sonata is now available with one of Hyundai’s newest technologies: Remote Smart Parking Assist. With this functionality, you can use your Sonata’s Smart Key to have the sedan park itself with just the push of a button. Not only can it park itself; it can pull out of the parking spot too. This is especially helpful in crowded parking lots when you as the driver are stressed or nervous — or just unsure if you will be able to fit out of the door once you’ve parked in your spot.

Commercial Debut

To debut this new technology, Hyundai drafted Chris Evans, John Krasinski, Rachel Dratch, and David “Big Papi” Ortiz — four famous Bostonians — in a hilarious commercial that aired during everyone’s favorite football game. You can check out the ad below:

Remote Smart Parking Assist works in both perpendicular and parallel parking situations. Drivers do not have to be in the driver’s seat (or in the vehicle at all) while it parks and unparks itself.

Hyundai Leads The Way

Typically, only luxury automakers offer such a technology, like Tesla’s Smart Summon. Hyundai leads the way in the mass market industry with its affordably priced Sonata and the new Remote Smart Parking Assist technology.

Test-drive a model here at Evansville Hyundai to experience this convenient new tech for yourself.
